The City Farm by the Kitchen is set up to provide The Kitchen with its own organic and hydroponic vegetables. The farm is located in the middl of Thung Mahamek, close to Soi Yenakat. The extensive container garden grows fresh herbs, vegetables and fruits - without the use of pesticides.

We grow our vegetables "as organic as possible". This means that we are not certified by any government organisation. But we do try to be as clean and healthy as possible. If we need to use pesticides we use natural ones - preferably made ourselves. The soil is composted and fertiliser is natural as well.
Growing large vegetables is more difficult in a potted garden - but most of our herbs are grown here. Basil, coriander, several kinds of lettuce and "kaolin" grow very well. Our lime trees are bearing fruit now and we have some long bean and papaya growing as well. The garden is cared for by our team.
